Stronger Oregon is the industry leader of providing onsite school mental health services in districts across the state. We’d like to consider you for a position to help students receive the care they need at their school.

Licensed School Based Therapist (Oregon LCSW, LPC, LMFT)

Why Stronger Oregon?

At Stronger Oregon, we believe in transparency and accountability. From the very beginning, we share our perspective on the mental health field so you know where we stand. We want every new relationship to start with trust, authenticity, and mutual respect.

Medicaid is in a period of uncertainty, and many agencies are unprepared. We are not. Stronger Oregon is built to ride out these changes and give you a stable, rewarding place to grow your career.

How We’re Different (and Why That Matters for You):

  • Diversified Payer Mix We don’t rely on one unstable funding stream. Our clients are served through Medicaid, private insurance, district contracts, EAPs, and other agreements.

  • Compensation Stability Our pay structures are timed with insurer changes so you get the best rates until adjustments are unavoidable. Plus, private insurance continues to grow with inflation—protecting your income even as Medicaid shifts.

  • Less Stress, More Support In 2026 we launch StrongerEHR, our new platform with AI note-taking, built-in dictation, and smart organization tools. It reduces administrative burden so you can focus on client care.

  • Investing in Admin Teams Administrators are the engine of an agency. Our 2026 upgrade will streamline their work, creating stress relief across all roles.

  • Future-Proof Revenue We plan to license StrongerEHR to other agencies, diversifying revenue to ensure long-term sustainability.

  • Unlimited CEUs As an official OBLSW CE provider (OBLPCT Compliant!), we offer unlimited free CEUs to cover all your renewal requirements. You can even become a trainer if you’d like to share your expertise and make extra compensation on the side.

  • Big-Picture Vision Our software roadmap positions us to innovate to be like Epic, Cerner, Salesforce, and Synergy—making us a cost-effective, scalable alternative in healthcare, business and education. This is immense diversification!

The Bottom Line

Stronger Oregon is preparing for the future with creativity, resilience, and a deep commitment to our team. If you want to be part of a stable, forward-thinking agency that invests in your growth, join us—we’re ready for what’s coming, and we want you with us.

Sincerely,

Stronger Oregon Leadership

Join Stronger Oregon – A New Way to Do Outpatient Mental Health

Hello and welcome to Stronger Oregon’s new model for school outpatient mental health services in Oregon. We’re building something different—something sustainable for both providers and clients.

Here’s how:

Work-Life Balance, Re-imagined

  • Full-Time = 35 Hours/Week → You receive full benefits while working fewer hours.

  • Flexible Scheduling → Arrange your 35 hours however you choose, based on client preferences. Many clinicians work four 8.75-hour shifts and enjoy 3 days off every week!

  • No Productivity Penalties for circumstances out of your control→ Of your 35 weekly work hours, only 26 need to be scheduled with clients (if working 4 days a week in schools). If a client cancels, you’re not punished.

Clinical Freedom

  • Provide the level of care each client truly needs: individual sessions, family therapy, case management, consultation, or multiple sessions in a week.

  • No “restricted treatment plans” or rigid productivity formulas that compromise quality.

Compensation Options (You Choose)

Licensed Oregon clinicians (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) can earn $60,000 to $151,000 annually depending on structure and hours:

Option 1: Full-Time Hourly with Bonuses! (Most reliable income, less risky)

  • $50 an hour base rate (35 hours a week multiplied by $50 an hour)

    • Extra $60 bonuses per 60 minute billable service beyond 23 per week. (i.e. the 24th 60-minute billable service rendered in a week earns you an extra $60 bonus).

      • Annual income estimates:

        • 26 service hrs/week → ~$91K base pay with $9,360 in bonuses = $100,360.

        • 29 service hrs/week → ~$91K base pay with $18,700 in bonuses = $109,720.

    • Includes health/dental/vision (no monthly premium), 401k Matching, 80 PTO hours, 40 sick hours, 10 paid holidays (these tier every year).

Option 2: Full-Time Commission (Most profitable for you when case load is full)

  • $30 an hour with the potential to earn a commission. If 60% of the total earned billable services calculated for a pay period exceed base pay, the excess beyond the base pay will be earned as a commission. Being a commission based job, akin to independent contracting, it is setup to give the most amount of money possible to the employee while also covering benefits.

    • Hourly is set at $30 an hour for the 35 hours a week (2 week pay-period) as a minimum and commissions earned in excess lead to higher earnings (Base hourly+excess commissions+benefits) than all other roles.

      • Annual income estimates:

        • The minimum per pay period is 70 hours multiplied by $30 which is a total of $2,100. Total commissions that surpass this base amount will be added on to your earnings.

        • Example: An OHP $184.66 insurance reimbursement for an individual 60 minute therapy session equals a $110.80 commission. Below is a calculation assuming this is the only service and insurance you treat.

          • 26 service hrs/week → ~$149,801* ($54,600 base hourly wage + $95,201* in commissions)

          • 29 service hrs/week → ~$167,086* ($54,600 base hourly wage + $112,486* in commissions)

*These estimations are for only one insurance and can be lower depending on the insurance and service rendered.

    • Includes health/dental/vision (no monthly premium), 401k Matching, 80 PTO hours, 40 sick hours, 10 paid holidays (these tier every year).

Option 3: Independent Contractor (Highest Ceiling)

  • 70% commission.

    • Annual income estimates:

      • Example: A $184.66 insurance reimbursement = $129.26 commission.

        • 10 service hrs/week → ~$67,215*

        • 21 service hrs/week → ~$141,151*

        • 28 service hrs/week → ~$188,202*

        • 32 service hrs/week → ~$205,088*

*These estimations are for only one insurance and can be lower depending on the insurance and service rendered.
