I am a Clinical Social Work Associate working towards clinical licensure with a focus on mental health and social justice. I received a masters degree in Social Work from Arizona State University and hold a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. I also served four years in the US Army. I have worked in outpatient, school and correctional settings.
I believe deeply in the resiliency of the human spirit. I am passionate about providing a compassionate, collaborative and authentic experience for growth and healing. I use a strengths based, person centered, trauma informed and resiliency focused approach. Utilizing CBT, mindfulness, play therapy, narrative therapy and art therapy. Incorporating many techniques based on an individuals interests and preference for treatment. I have experience working with individuals to address emotional regulation, family dynamics, life experiences, anxiety, depression, suicide ideation, self harm, ADHD, parenting, relationships, trauma, abuse, violence and PTSD.
Together we will work through understanding the ways you have been impacted by your experience, recognizing the source of your symptoms and honing in on your interpersonal strengths, wisdom and resiliency through a restorative therapeutic process.
