I believe you are the expert in who you are and where you have been. My role as a counselor is to guide your process to deeper self-awareness through access to resources, ideas, and a safe space to explore your journey. Utilizing behavioral, motivational, mindfulness, narrative, and solution-focused therapies, we will build a roadmap guided by a person-centered and trauma-informed approach.
I have been a substance use counselor for almost a decade. I returned to school to gain a license, allowing me to assist people in addressing the underlying challenges in life that lead to addiction, self-harm, and a general lack of self-esteem. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, graduating with honors from Walden University.
Through my life, professional, and educational experiences, I have developed a skill set in addressing stress, trauma (acute/chronic/complex), anxiety, depression, family issues, grief, domestic abuse, and relational challenges. You are not alone; together, we can find our way through hardships that may be holding you back from building your desired life.
